Three attackers died in clash between security forces and PTM: ISPR
MIRANSHAH: Three attackers dead and another ten wounded in firing between security forces and Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) workers in North Wazairistan’s Miranshah district, confirmed ISPR.
According to Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) the attackers came with a motive to release some suspected terrorists, however, in exchange of fire five army personnel also got injured.
“They wanted to exert pressure for the release of suspected terrorists’ facilitator arrested the other day. Troops at the check post exercised maximum restraint in the face of provocation and direct firing on the post,” said the Pakistan Army’s media wing.
The clash between the security forces and PTM workers erupted where the party has been staging a sit-in for many days.
