Shehbaz, Hamza files plea for exemptions from appearance in court hearing
Lahore: Accountability court in Lahore today will hear Ramzan Sugar Mills and Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme cases against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shebaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz.
On the other hand, both accused filed an application for seeking exemption from personal appearance through their lawyers yesterday.
The applications mentioned that Shehbaz is out of country and Hamza’s health is not well, and both of them could not appear before the court today hearing.
Lahore High Court (LHC) extended Hamza’s interim bail in three different cases, Ramzan Sugar Mills, Saaf Pani Company and assets beyond known sources of income on Wednesday, till May 22.
