Recently proposed budget is formulated to please IMF: Ahsan Iqbal
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal has said, “The recently proposed budget was formulated to please International Monetary Fund (IMF).”
Speaking at National Assembly floor, he said that he said that economic growth is the primary target of any budget.
Ahsan said, “The creation of jobs is an important aspect of any country’s economic plan while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government has failed to achieve any of the targets.”
“The PTI-led federal government is not a recently married bride anymore they have to answer for their failures,” he further added.
“They sold buffaloes and cars for making people fool,” said Ahsan.
“We are ready to answer for the loans taken in the past ten years but the federal government should answer too where did they spent the loans taken in their past 10 months,” added former interior minister.
“The government should realize that they are no more on a container of the D-Chowk,” further added Iqbal.
“Country’s stock exchange is now among the worst in South Asia because of the failed policies of the government, he concluded.
