Sindh has a better tax collection ratio : Murad Ali Shah
ISLAMABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that to media after meeting with International Monetary Fund (IMF), “Sindh has a better tax collection ratio.”
While talking to pressers CM Sindh told that provincial governments had a better record in tax collection and provincial finance authorities had informed it to IMF.
It is to remember that Murad Ali Shah holds a portfolio of finance.
Murad Ali Shah moreover stated to media that Finance Ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces were also present in the meeting. He established that the provinces are under pressure due to downward tax collection.
IMF team also held a meeting with Federal Adviser Finance Dr. Hafeez Shaikh, Chief Minister Sindh said.
Adviser Finance Dr. Hafeez Shaikh said that the provinces have given their proposals in the meeting which will be considered during the preparation of the next budget.
