PPP will not come under threats of anyone: CM Murad
KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that PPP will not come under the threats of anyone.
While addressing a post-budget press conference, Murad Ali Shah condemned the arrest of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Zardari on federal budget day and his sister Faryal Talpur on day of the provincial budget.
He termed Faryal Talpur’s arrest as another example of political victimization. He added that PTI govt’s incompetence is punishing innocent masses.
CM Murad said that the federal government has cut down the provincial budget by 34billion rupees in just four days.
The PPP leader said: “On 30th May federation wrote a letter providing Rs 666 billion which was reduced to Rs 632 billion after four days. On a budget day, it was known that Sindh will get Rs 631 billion.”
