PML-N decides to oppose govt’s decision and to protest in parliament
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has decided to oppose the government’s decision to file references against judges in Supreme Court Council and to protest in Parliament.
“No one is allowed to attack the judiciary,” Ayaz Sadiq said.
“We have decided to take a formal point of view against the references filed by the government. We have every right to protest in front of us,” he concluded.
Senior vice-president Shahid Khaqan Abbasi presided over the parliamentary advisor meeting.
Party chairman Raza Zafarul Haq, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Tanveer, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Mushahidullah Khan, Rana Sanullah and other leaders also attended the meeting.
