PM Imran don’t have capacity to give NRO to anyone: Maryam Nawaz
ZAFARWAL: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz criticising Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that you do not have the capacity to give National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to anyone.
Addressing a public gathering, Maryam Nawaz said that PM Imran Khan would himself seek NRO after few days.
She stated that the world recognized Pakistan’s efforts during the tenure of the PML-N supreme, but shortly after the general elections in 2018 the quickly developing country started downward trend.
Maryam Nawaz said that former Premier and PML-N Supreme Nawaz Sharif would have had the NRO long earlier; if he wished to get one, adding that he’s still standing in prison by his words.
The PML-N vice president while accusing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of stealing the elections said that the country ruined after PML-N government completed its tenure.
She said new highways were being constructed and terrorist incidents in the nation decreased during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif and the nation was advancing, but the demise of Pakistan began shortly after the tenure of Sharif.
The former prime minister was removed from office over iqama, she added.
Maryam lashed out on the budget announced by the incumbent government yesterday and termed it ‘Armageddon’ for the people.
Speaking about the National Accountability Bureau Maryam said: “NAB only sees Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz and Saad Rafique. Why is NAB unable to see the corrupt within the ranks of the PTI-led government?” asked Maryam.
