He said that further expansion of Karachi should be stopped and in place slum areas of city should be developed.
Later, Premier inaugurated Bagh-Ibne-Qasim. Talking to attendance PM stressed importance of planting trees and ‘saving green areas’ in Karachi.
Regretting that Karachi has become a “concrete slab” he said that government would allow high rise buildings in city in order to prevent vertical expansion and in this way land could be used to plant trees.
