‘Pakistan reserves right to respond to any aggression’
Pakistan reserves right to respond to any aggression displayed against as a matter of self-defence, Chief of Army Staff General, Qamar Javed Bajwa has informed military chiefs and ambassadors of major western powers and China.
Army chief during his separate phone conversations with Commander of United States Central Command (Centcom), United Kingdom’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Australian Chief of Defence Force (CDF) and ambassadors to Pakistan of US, UK and China said, “Pakistan shall surely respond to any aggression in self defence.”
Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, head of military’s media wing on Twitter said.
During phone calls, Gen Bajwa and defence chiefs and ambassadors discussed prevailing stand-off between Pakistan and India and its impact on ‘peace and stability in region and beyond’, according to tweet.
