NEPRA decreases electricity tariffs by Rs 0.040
ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved to decrease prices of electricity by Rs 0.040 per unit in the tariff for all of its consumers.
A notification has been issued in this regard.
The prices are decreased under the fuel adjustment for the month of March, the notification reads.
The decreases in electricity tariffs will give a relief of Rs 280 million to the users.
Earlier, NEPRA proposed Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) to increase the electricity tariffs under the monthly fuel adjustment.
The NEPRA however, rejected the request.
This change, however, will not affect the K-Electric users.
