NATO in Afghanistan to train Afghan forces, Stoltenberg
Washington: On the occasion of 70th birthday of Western Alliance, Secretary General NATO Jen Stoltenberg says “NATO is in Afghanistan to direct Afghan forces.”
Special events are being held in Washington regarding 70th anniversary of Western Military Alliance. NATO Alliance was established in Washington on April 4, 1949.
Secretary General NATO said, “NATO is in Afghanistan for war against terrorism.”
“Our objective is not to stay in Afghanistan perpetually, Harmony in Afghanistan and way to reconciliation should be gentle. Peace and stability in Afghanistan will be established after elimination of global terrorists,” said Stoltenberg.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump spokes that “Germany is not playing its part in NATO fairly.”
