Former PM urges for consensus on National Issues
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in National Assembly session urges for unity on real issues of Pakistan.
During the session, Khaqan, gave an example of another consensus like the National Assembly agreed over the legislation for former Fata region.
While speaking in Assembly for 26th constitutional amendment bill for escalating the NA seats in the ex-Fata region, Former PM said, “When we can attain a consensus on the rights of the tribal region, we should also attain an agreement over other national issues.”
Senior PML-N representative appreciated Premier on his attendance in Assembly session.
He urged that we should reach an agreement over issues of national importance and the “charter of the economy” and etc.
The former PM also comments on IMF deal, said, “We can hope that the Prime Minister would take parliament members into confidence at International Monetary Fund (IMF). Details of the agreement and terms should be on the table in front of the house. ”
