LHC extends interim bail of Hamza Shehbaz till June 11
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has extended the interim bail of Opposition leader in National Assembly, Hamza Shehbaz till June 11 in three different graft cases today.
The cases against Hamza were Ramzan Sugar Mills, Punjab Saaf Pani Company and assets beyond means cases.
Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi headed over the two-member bench that take up the bail petitions filed by Hamza.
It is noteworthy that last week, following the reservation shown by the leader of the PML-N, the chief justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) set up a new two-member bench to hear his bail petitions.
Earlier on Tuesday, the bench, under the stewardship of Justice Ali Baqar Najafi, referred the petitions to the LHC chief justice to fix them before another bench after Hamza expressed mistrust in the bench.
