Bilawal writes a letter to NAB, told about appearing failure
KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto wrote in a letter to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) about his failure to attend NAB proceedings on May 17.
Adviser to Chief Minister of Sindh on Law, Anti-Corruption Establishment, and information, told that Bilawal has other appointments on the same date and he would not be able to attend the proceeding.
“letter issued by NAB to the chairman of PPP had been received 5 days after it was sent,”Advisor to CM Sindh further said.
Murtaza Wahab said that “Party Chairman would fail to appear in front of NAB due to other prior commitments. We urge NAB to reschedule the proceedings to next week.”
It is noteworthy that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has not responded to a questionnaire that was handed by the bureau at his first appearance before it in March this year.
