Kashmir Day is being observed in Pakistan on February 5. Every year since 1990 this day is observed. Struggle for self determination by people of Indian held Kashmir is running history of time against tyranny of occupied armed forces in held valley.
Thousands of youths, women, children and men had so far been martyred at hands of Indian forces. The brave Kashmiris are not ready to surrender their rights to freedom.
Kashmiris started peaceful struggle against illegal occupation of Kashmir at hands of Indian government.
Late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto announced February 5 as public holiday in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
Nawaz Sharif the then Chief Minister also endorsed observing Kashmir Day.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad of Jamat-e-Islami had demanded of the then government to announce official holiday on Kashmiris’ struggle to show solidarity with them.
A number of United Nations’ resolutions have already endorsed self determination of people of Kashmir.
Alas! Indian inhuman successive government did not pay any heed to cry of world and tears of Kashmiri people.
