‘Fake Bank Accounts Case’, IHC grants pre-arrest bail to Faryal Talpur
Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted pre-arrest bail to Faryal Talpur till April 29 in the fake bank account case.
A division bench of the court, comprising Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, heard the petition filed by Faryal Talpur seeking pre-arrest bail ahead of his appearance before National Accountability Court (NAB).
In his petition, Faryal stated that she has been summoned by the NAB in fake accounts case on April 17 and I have feared that the NAB could arrest him.
Faryal has named the NAB chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal as respondents in the petition.
The court approved the petition of Faryal Talpur and granted him bail till April 29 against surety bonds of Rs 1 million.
