‘ICC World Cup’, Pakistani Cricketers forced to train indoors due to rain
TAUNTON: Pakistani Cricketers were forced to train indoors after rain halted its first training session in Taunton on Sunday.
For their first training session, Pakistan’s squad arrived at Taunton’s Cooper Associates County Ground ahead of their Wednesday clash at the same venue against Australia. However, as it began to rain, the players had to hurry back to the dressing room.
Before returning to the dressing room, players had some fielding exercises and knocking at nets.
Knowing the session’s significance before the match against Australia, however, the players opted for some indoor nets exercise.
Players returned to the field as quickly as the rain stopped for some catching exercise.
At the end of the session, Pakistan team also had a coaching session with junior players from Somerset County Cricket Club.
