‘ICC Cricket World Cup 2019’, Mitchell Starc breaks Glen McGrath’s record
Mitchell Starc has broken Glenn McGrath’s record for the most wickets in a single World Cup, claiming his 27th scalp in Thursday’s semi-final against England.
Starc claimed his record breakthrough when he had Jonny Bairstow lbw, taking him past McGrath’s mark from his farewell 2007 tournament.
But it came on an unhappy day for the Starc, as Australia struggled to defend their total of 223.
