Hot weather likely to blanket Sindh province today
KARACHI: Hot weather is likely to blanket Sindh province including Karachi today with temperatures reaching around 40-degree centigrade, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Met Office said that Karachi will witness a minimum temperature of 27 to 29 degrees centigrade and a maximum of 38 to 40 degrees centigrade.
Met Office predicted that the weather in the metropolis would remain warm and dry, while the threat of heat waves would have declined.
No high pressure is present on upper surface of the city which will keep the extreme heat at bay, maintaining a casual warm climate.
On the other hand, downpour has been predicted in Hazara Division, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
