Government will not be blackmailed from anybody,PMSA
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister for Special Assistance on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that country can’t be run without taxes while the government will not be blackmailed from anybody.
Addressing a presser along with Federal Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bakhtiar, PMSA Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the important developments are occuring in the political situation of the country while the beneficiaries of status-quo are creating the hurdles adding that there is no any issue in the talks with the business community a business minded political party conducted politics thinking it as a business.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the real traders are the partners of the government while she ensured that the government will solve the problems of the business community.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said the investigation will reveal how a guarantor of national security became a national security risk himself, “Asif has become a missing person,” she said. “Those who have received from the NAB are creating hue and cry.”
She said that the cabinet has referred the case to Interior Ministry, and the investigation will take into account the countries who have interests with the company which gave Iqama to Asif, adding that the case was ‘a serious security breach’.
addressing to the press conference she said former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi spent lavishly during his brief tenure. He made nine foreign trips in 2017, in which he spent 24 days abroad and took 109 people as delegation members with him.
He spent 111.74 million rupees of national exchequer. In 2018, former Prime Minister made 10 foreign trips for 26 days and took 105 people with him, costing 147.8 million to the national kitty. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi spent 5.48 million rupees as tips to the people.
Referring to situation in Sindh, she said the people of province have now realized that corruption is the main reason for the problems being faced by them.
