Gold prices have hit a record high, Rs 88,300 per tola
Gold prices in Pakistan have hit a record high as the price of per tola reached Rs 88,300 after an increase of Rs 950 today (Friday).
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 815. It now costs Rs 75,703.
In international market the price of per ounce gold increased by $16 and was traded at $ 1514.
The prices compiled by the Karachi Sarafa Association come with a lag of a day after changes in international prices. Pakistani traders adjust gold prices based on price movements in the international market and fluctuation in the dollar rates as well as market forces of demand and supply.
