FM Qureshi departs for Saudia Arab to attend OIC meeting
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi departed for Saudia Arab to attend the meeting of foreign ministers’ of member countries of OIC.
Talking to journalists before leaving to Saudia Arab he said that agenda of Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) meeting is to finalise previously agreed agenda. The previous meeting was attended by the heads of member Islamic countries.
“Current situation of Iran with the Middle East will also be discussed in that meeting,” said FM Qureshi.
Qureshi said that he is scheduled to meet some of his few counterparts and secretary general of OIC during the visit.
He said that the session of Kashmir Contact Group is also expected in which the participants will present their viewpoints.
The premier will attend the 14th Islamic Summit of the OIC on May 30 and 31.
