Federal govt passed Budget 2019-20 in NA through rigging: Bilawal Bhutto
MOHMAND: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the federal government had passed the Fiscal year 2019-20 budget in the National Assembly (NA) through rigging.
Addressing a public gathering in Mohmand, Bilawal Bhutto said, “This budget is not made by the incumbent government. This budget is the International Monetary Fund (IMF) budget.”
He said that unemployment is ruining our youth. He said that prices of vegetables, petrol, diesel, gas, sugar and flour have been increased while budget for education and health has been reduced.
Bilawal said that Naya Pakistan is not less than a punishment for public, adding that this budget is public enemy that is sucking the blood of masses.
He said that everyone is facing this economic disastrous, questioning that what kind of change it is.
Bilawal Bhutto said, “PPP always fought for the rights of people and will continue its struggle to safeguard masses rights.”
Bilawal further said that economic rights are not safe until democratic and human rights are not saved. He said they would defend the basic human rights under 18th amendment.
The PPP leader said that Former President Asif Ali Zardari had provided identity and rights to people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
He reiterated that former president had increased the budget of tribal areas to 500percent in the PPP government.
Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) govt has ruined the KPK province in the last six years.
“Have you got new hospitals of liver, kidney and heart in KPK? Are you getting free medical treatment on the province?” he asked while addressing media.
The PPP chairman said that provinces are becoming bankrupt due to the poor economic policies of the incumbent government.
He said that PPP will hold public gatherings at Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan on July 06 and party convention in Peshawar.
