CTD arrests three terrorists in Lahore, recovers suicide jackets
LAHORE: Three alleged terrorists were nabbed during an operation carried out late yesterday night here in the metropolis’ Bhati Gate area, intelligence agencies’ sources said.
As per the CTD spokesperson, the operation carried out in Lahore’s Bhati gate area.
The three arrested alleged terrorists also include a woman facilitator. Two of the arrested terrorists are Afghan nationals, CTD spokesperson said.
Three suicide jackets and other weapons were also recovered from the custody of terrorist.
All three moved to an undisclosed location for further questioning and as the investigation continues.
It is suspected that all three were involved in the May 8 Data Darbar blast that had taken 10 lives and left at least 25 others injured, the intelligence sources noted.
