Buzdar put the foundation of Nishtar Hospital phase II, call it a gift for Multan
MULTAN: Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar today laid the foundation stone of Nishtar Hospital phase II.
Addressing the occasion, he said in the first phase, a 500-bed hospital will be constructed with an emergency ward comprising 120 beds.
Chief minister said the Nishtar Hospital Multan has been providing standard healthcare facilities, adding as many as 6,000 patients undergo check-up at the out-patients wards of the medical facility on a daily basis.
He said people from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa come to the hospital for treatment, adding phase II is a gift for the people of Multan.
CM Buzdar lamented that the project suffered delays because of the negligence of previous governments.
He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will continue serving the masses.
