At least 17 killed, 32 injured in horrific Cairo road mishap
CAIRO: At least 17 people were killed and another 32 injured after a car coming from opposite direction collided with three other vehicles outside a cancer hospital in Cairo.
As per Cairo’s rescue officials, after the collision, an explosion took place and fire gutted numerous cars.
Health authorities evacuated all patients from the centre to other hospitals in the city.
Egypt’s public prosecutor is investigating the cause of the incident, the report said, but there was no official statement indicating that the explosion was an attack.
Egypt’s football icon, Mohammad Salah addressed the mishap as he poured in his condolences to affectees and their families.
