AC extends judicial remand of Khawaja brothers for 14 days
LAHORE: An Accountability Court of Lahore extended judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique for 14 days in Paragon Housing case.
Accountability Court Judge Jawwad ul Hasan heard the case with Khawaja Salman produced before the court.
Khawaja Salman’s brother Saad Rafique was not present at the court due to his participation in National Assembly session. PML-N leader Saad’s counsel later presented his client’s plea seeking exemption from the hearing.
Talking to journalists after the hearing, Khawaja Salman Rafique reflected on the present economic conditions in the country.
He said, “Government has made it hard for a common man to live. Dollar has sky-rocketed whereas the public is shrieking over recent inflation”.
