Pak Army Chief meets World Islamic Bank Chief Executive: ISPR
Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the security situation in Pakistan is rapidly improving and the security situation in the country is steadily taking a long step towards stability.
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department ISPR, Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah, chief executive of the World Islamic Bank visited GHQ and met Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to ISPR, the meeting discussed issues of regional security and economic cooperation. Speaking on the occasion, Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa, commander of the Pakistan Army, said that the security situation in Pakistan is rapidly improving.
Army Chief said that peace is essential for economic development and foreign investment. Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah praised the efforts of the Pakistan Army for peace. The chief executive of the World Islamic Bank said that the role of the Pak army for peace in the country is valuable. Establishment of peace will increase economic activity.
