Agha Siraj corruption case heard, assets details submitted to court
KARACHI: Agha Siraj Durrani corruption case was heard in which NAB provided details of assets.
Sindh High Court hearing a petition against Agha Siraj Durrani and others in a 1 billion 4 crore corruption case was heard on bail. Sources say that during the hearing, NAB presented the details of 57 properties including Agha Siraj Durrani’s anonymous property, including vehicles, to the court
The court has summoned the prosecutor to NAB on September 26 to give arguments. Speaker of the House Agha Siraj Durrani is in jail in a corruption case. During the hearing, Agha Siraj Durrani’s lawyer said that NAB did not issue call-up notice to Siraj Durrani before arrest, in reply to NAB’s statement that Siraj Durrani sent the notice to NAB, a copy of his reply is also attached.
The lawyer said that 28 persons, including family members of Siraj Durrani, have been nominated in the reference. During the arguments, the lawyer of Agha Siraj Durrani read his Speaker National Assembly, on which Chief Justice Sindh High Court Ahmed Ali Sheikh affirmed that Agha Siraj Durrani is not a National Speaker of the Assembly.
