Tahir-ul-Qadri declares seperation from politics
Lahore: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, has declared separation from politics.
Addressing through a video conference, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that, “We have played a vital role in raising public awareness against corruption. Being a part of parliament, we have seen everything through our eyes.” Nothing happens for public welfare.
Tahir-ul-Qadri said that unfortunately in our politics there is no room for the poor and middle class, most of the MPs live for power only Head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek said that the martyrdom of Model Town was a result of the ongoing struggle of the movement; a sit-in was also given to raise public awareness for 3 months.
Tahir-ul-Qadri further said that I have a lot of work and health issues related to the writing, so I declare retirement from the politics and political activities of Pakistan, I am giving all my powers to the Supreme Council.
