Government borrows Rs 1237 billion in July 2019 : State Bank
KARACHI: According to the State bank of Pakistan, the government borrowed Rs 1237 billion in July 2019, after which the volume of government loans increased to Rs 33,23 billion at the end of July.
According to the State Bank, the total debt is Rs 22,12 billion.
The external debt of the government is Rs 11 thousand 11 billion. According to the central bank, the government has taken out Rs 8333 billion in debt in one year.
External loans have been extracted from Rs 163 per dollar, locally borrowed at Rs 1280 billion in July, and foreign loans of 43 billion were paid in July.
