Shahid Khaqan, Miftah Ismail’s physical remand extended by 14 days
ISLAMABAD: The accountability court has extended the physical remand of former Prime ministers Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail and Sheikh Imran ul Haq for 14 days, arrested in the LNG case.
According to details, LNG case was heard in accountability, NAB team presented former prime ministers Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail and Sheikh Imran ul Haq to court.
The investigating officer said that he had come from Karachi himself and wanted to investigate further in light of the records and evidence.
During the hearing the former Prime Minister came to Rostrum, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said yesterday that what the Chief Justice said is same thing, all these are political cases, I am afraid they will make fake case against me.
After giving a 90-day remand, Judge Mohammad Bashir delivered the verdict on NAB’s plea and handed over the accused to the NAB on a further 14-day remand and ordered them to appear again on September 26.
